  • Practical shooting is based on the principals of combat and self defense with a handgun.

This sport, originating in the United States, is very popular around the world and is conducted by the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC).

The 40 hour course aims to train the participants to handle a handgun in a variety of situations and conditions- from the most basic to the most complex, including: shooting with one hand, behind cover, sitting and lying down, shooting under pressure and much more.

At the end of the course the participants will receive a 'shooter certificate' from the Israeli Shooting Union which entitles them to join all the shooting clubs around the country and to participate in competitions in Israel and abroad.

Prerequisites for joining a course are as follows:

    1. Applicants must be 16 years old and over. Applicants under the age of 18 will need to bring a parental consent slip.
    2. Approval by the Ministry of Public Security and the Israeli Shooting Federation.
    3. A medical statement signed by the family doctor.
